Maria Ferrara is a psychiatrist from Italy. She has served as the principal psychiatrist for new onset psychosis services at a community mental health center in Modena, Italy since 2012, where she led the development of an assertive outreach-based coordinated service for first-episode psychosis.
Maria has been on a leave of absence from her position in Modena since March 2017 to join the research team at the STEP Program, where she helps coordinate the implementation of the MindMap campaign and social media outreach activities. She enjoys baking, and she is a qualified skipper.
