The STEP Program is the host of the MindMap public education campaign, and an early psychosis clinic engaged in mental health policy, research, and training. STEP offers a model of Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) that has been recognized as a national model of best practice for early psychosis care.
Individuals will partner up with a professional from the STEP team to create a custom treatment plan that suits their own goals. Treatment often includes psychotherapy and medication.
Individuals can also choose to involve in their care:
75% of families participate in our treatment.
Build strong and healthy relationships.
Our employment specialists will help with finding a job.
Pratical assistance to help balance school and treatment.
Counseling on finances, insurance, and housing.
Wellness support and substance abuse counseling.
Young people between the ages of 16 and 35 with recent onset of psychosis who live within our 10-town catchment area (shown in the map below) can be referred to our treatment program.
