Is your friend or family member behaving differently or having unusual experiences? It may be that they are experiencing psychosis. We encourage referrals as soon as you suspect a loved one has psychosis. The earlier an individual receives treatment, the better the outcomes.
Individuals will partner up with a professional from the STEP team to create a custom treatment plan that suits their own goals. Treatment often includes psychotherapy and medication.
Individuals can also choose to involve in their care:
75% of families participate in our treatment.
How to build strong and healthy relationships.
Our employment specialists will help with finding a job.
Pratical assistance to help balance school and treatment.
Counseling on finances, insurance, and housing.
Health and wellness support and substance abuse counseling.
Young people between the ages of 16 and 35 with recent onset of psychosis who live within our 10-town catchment area (shown in the map below) can be referred to our treatment program.
