Jessica Pollard PhD

Dr. Pollard is the Clinical Director for STEP. She oversees treatment, supervises staff, provides education in the community and to STEP trainees, and sees patients for individual and family therapy.

Dr. Pollard is a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington, earned her master’s and doctorate from the University of Connecticut, and completed pre- and post-doctoral psychology training at Yale. She is the 2009 recipient of the American Public Health Association Mental Health Section Award for “excellence in the field of mental health” and the Chair Elect for the section; she has presented professionally in six countries, and is licensed as a psychologist in Connecticut and Maine, her home state. Dr. Pollard enjoys baking and cooking, creating new healthy and delicious recipes; knitting and other crafty projects; and being outdoors.
