Tim Michaels is a clinical psychology graduate student at the University of Connecticut and a part-time clinical extern at STEP. His research utilizes basic and clinical translational neuroscience tools such as EEG, fMRI, and TMS to understand the biological basis of cognitive deficits and psychotic symptoms in patients with schizophrenia. Tim received a B.A. in History from the University of Chicago, a post-baccalaureate certificate in Psychology from Columbia University and a M.S. in Psychological Sciences from the University of Connecticut. In his spare time, Tim enjoys playing tennis, traveling and is an avid musician and DJ.
